Lengthy stays in micro gravity causes astronauts to lose bone mass. NASA developed a piece of medical hardware, which will stay on the International Space Station, to receive input from the astronauts. Round Rock Software developed custom software to interpret the input and perform calculations; the results of which will be interpreted by scientists and allow them to monitor the bone mass of the astronauts.
Unlike typical Windchill solutions, this one deals with Healthcare. Round Rock Software was able to apply engineering principles to healthcare products such as Medical, RX, Vision insurance products. We create a product structure based on the saleable insurance products (which are based on benefits) and manage the creation and change (Federal and State Changes) within Windchill. The release of these products automatically generates the schedule of benefit documentation to send the customers.
Round Rock Software has written software to track the digital downloads per user, domain, and region and then generate reports based on Article, Author, and its correlation to other articles. The software will be used at numerous other institutes of higher learning.
Round Rock Software created a series of CAD data workflows that allow Honeywell to better track and release their data. The end result is a cost savings in reduced time-to-market and increased reuse of parts that have already been released. In addition, we upgraded their PDM/PLM system to the most recent release of Windchill.
Round Rock Software upgraded Kennedy’s local instance of Windchill to the latest release of Windchill. In addition, we provided consultation with regard to CAD data management best practices, context management, workflow creation and application tuning to ensure the large user base and their CAD models had swift upload and download times.
Round Rock software was an integral team member of the Dell upgrade effort. Dell started with a user base of several hundred people using Windchill 8.0. We helped create a new, and very large, Windchill 9.0 environment that was used by thousands of engineers located across the globe. This environment also had new workflows, governance and part attribute tracking built into it, which allowed for a much greater ROI. In addition, Round Rock Software employees created Windchill 8.0 and Windchill 9.0 training that was delivered in person, in multiple countries and later converted to Web-Based so it could viewed at anytime by any employee or contractor.
Round Rock Software employees created PDMLink, ProjectLink and custom Windchill training for NASA’s Integrated-Collaborative-Environment. As this environment is used by all centers, RRSW employees traveled the country to deliver training to thousands of NASA employees in person. When the custom training dictated a smaller audience, we made use of modern technology to deliver through electronic media and save the travel cost.
